Rana Daggubati who played the role of Bhallaladeva in Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali will have a special character addition with him in the sequel. In the first part, he was seen single without female pair. But there were scenes of Bhallaladeva’s son in the film. So this time the director has added his wife role which will be played by none other than Shriya Saran.
Shriya has been known well in Tamil as well as Telugu in many movies and hence they might have opted for her. Also the actress did not have much films in Kollywood after Rowthiram in 2011. The story of how they both are getting married and what happens to Shriya will be focussed in the second installment.
For the main protagonist Prabhas, there are two ladies Anushka and Tamannaah. Apart from Shriya, all other members of the first part are retained as such without any change. Presently a fight sequence is being filmed in the Woods Lands of Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad featuring Prabhas and some fighters.
Stunt Choreographer Kecha is supervising the scene. Rana is expected to join the sets from May month after gaining some more weight for the Bhallaladeva role. The teaser of Baahubali: The Conclusion is anticipated to be released on October 11 and the movie may see the light only in April 2017.
