Rajathandhiram was one among the silent hits of 2015 and a sequel will be made following it in this year. While this time the director A.G.Amid has been replaced by Senthil Veerasamy who will also produce this heist thriller. Another point to note is that Senthil is a former associate of the ace director Gautham Menon.

Other part of the cast and crew are retained to be the same except for the music director. Isaignani will compose tunes to this part in place of Sandeep Chowta who worked for the first installment. If Ilaiyaraja has been roped in the team, then there must be some good stuff in the movie.

Proving the same, the first six minutes prelude video of the sequel was screened for some Kollywood celebrities who are all in praises of it, including STR. Today, March 13 marks the prequel release date and to celebrate on that there would be the first six minutes of Rajathandhiram 2 unveiled at 6 P.M.

The director has also given a word that the movie doesn’t have any songs and Ilaiyaraja will work only on the background scoring. But there be some promotional song during the release time.
