Updates on Mani Ratnam’s film with Karthi & Sai Pallavi
Article posted on 09 March 2016The other side of Kollywood has several silent movies coming up recently like the one from Mani Ratnam. It has Karthi and Sai Pallavi in the leading roles and the director is penning the script for now. He is spending his time at Kodaikanal and giving the final touch to the story. After the completion of it, he is likely to roll out the movie from June.
Meanwhile Karthi’s other movies like Thozha will hit the screens on March 25 and the horror thriller Kashmora will also complete the filming by Summer. So far, A.R.Rahman is the only confirmed part of the crew and the rest of the people in the team are yet to be roped in. There are rumours going around that it would be a romantic thriller titled as ‘Vellai Pookal’.
If everything goes as planned, it would be a dream come true project for Karthi who had always wanted to work under the ace director Mani Ratnam. In fact he had worked previously with him as an assistant director in the movie Ayutha Ezhuthu in 2004. The actor is also awaiting the turning point to his career and hope the legendary maker gifts him with it through this flick.
