Thala would play a King in his next !!
Article posted on 15 February 2016After undergoing the knee surgery, Ajith is recuperating from it and gearing up fast for his next film. We had been hearing that director Vishnuvardhan might get hold of Thala’s schedule for a period film. However official confirmation is awaited after the actor returns from UK after vacation.
For now, the news is true and we see further developments regarding it. Renowned writer Balakumaran will pen the script and dialogues for it. Ajith will be seen playing the King after 15 years when he played an antagonist against SRK in the Hindi period film Ashoka in 2001.
Further the director has spilled beans in a recent interview that it is not about Brihadeeshwara Temple or Raja Raja Chozha but about another Chozha King. The writer has also reported that he has finished scripting fully about the Chola dynasty on this.
