Theri to have a sequel ?

The one-minute teaser of Theri released on February 5 had smashed the records of other Kollywood movies in an overnight with over 14 lakhs hits in less than 24 hours. Another fuel to add to Theri fire is that the movie will have a second part.

Atlee will be making the sequel to it and Ilayathalapathy will be seen in the same cop role. It seems that there was no idea for the team about this until they shot the climax sequence at Ladakh recently. Amy Jackson is the only confirmed person in the cast as of now.

There are other news to this that the second installment will focus more on Vijay’s relationship with his daughter. Indeed this time, the actor’s own daughter Divya Saasha will play the role as a grown up one instead of Meena’s girl.

The music composed by GV will have its launch soon and the film is slated to hit the screens on April 14, the Tamil New Year day.
