Heroine for Salman Khan in Sultan ready
Article posted on 11 January 2016The first film for Salman Khan in this year would be a sports drama ‘Sultan’ directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the Gunday maker. The team has been hunting for the female lead and finally signed up with the young lady Anushka Sharma.
Bankrolled by Yash Raj Films, Salman is touted to play a wrestler hailing from Haryana and Randip Hooda will be his coach. The MMA champion Tyron Woodley had also been roped in to play one of the fighters against the protagonist.
Slated to hit the screens for this year’s Eid, the first schedule of shooting was completed in December at Mumbai and the next one was kickstarted with the filming of action sequences with the actor.
