Alia Bhatt in the Telugu remake of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ?
Article posted on 10 January 2016Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was a Bollywood coming-of-age romantic movie released three years back. This has been officially announced to be remade in Telugu with Akhil in one of the main lead.
To add to the cast, Alia Bhatt is in talks to have her on board. The Tollywood has been making efforts to bring many Bollywood actresses including Alia who was supposed to star with Akhil in his debut movie directed by Deva Katta. But the project did not materialise for unknown reasons.
Alia Bhatt was the suggestion made by the co-producer Karan Johar who will bankroll this entertainer along with Akkineni family’s Annapurna Studios. It is expected to be directed by Vamsi Paidipally who is currently busy working on the Tamil/Telugu bilingual Oopiri with Nagarjuna.
