Seevalaperi Pandi

Seevalaperi Pandi is a long forgotten 1994 drama directed by Prathap K.Pothan starring Napoleon and Saranya. This movie marked the entry of Napoleon as hero to Kollywood that was indeed a blockbuster hit. The movie’s producer P.G.Srikanth has decided to make it a sequel in a grand manner to suit this modern period.

The talks are going on to make Kamal Haasan to feature in the second part and the direction to be given to Gautham Menon. If the rumours are to be believed, it will be the first time for Ulaganayagan to star in a sequel.

Gautham who is very well known for giving movies with a backdrop of urban life will have a different experience with this rural subject. Also this movie has the opportunity to unite Kamal & Gautham after almost 10 years after Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu. However the confirmation whether the duo has accepted the proposal or not is still unknown.
