Thoonga Vanam by Kamal Haasan and Trisha will hit the theatres by November 10 for Diwali. This movie is in a way special for the actor as he has turned 61 years on November 7. In this occasion, all of his fans could gear up to watch the movie in theatres for the following 5 genuine reasons !!

1. Kamal Haasan in Action as a detective

It has been a long time since we have seen Kamal Haasan in an action sequence especially with guns. This is the chance for his fans to witness the actor in such a role who was seen previously in an opposite character of villager in Papanasam.

Virginie Arnaud who had worked in Fast and Furious 6, Gilles Conseil and Sylvain Gabet who worked in Transporter had been the stunt trainers in this flick.

2. Trisha in a never-before-seen role

Trisha has played equal to Kamal to say in this movie as a detective. There is a stunt between them in a kitchen of the nightclub where they both will be seen fighting against each other. The stills from that sequence has also been popular in social media sites.

3. Proficient Ensemble cast

The ensemble cast by promising actors like Kishore, Prakash Raj, Asha Sarath, Sampath Raj, Yugi Sethu, Madhu Shalini, Uma Riyaz and Jagan in their roles have added essence to the perfect delivery of the script.

4. Bilingual to suit Tamil & Telugu audiences

Though Thoonga Vanam is an official remake of the French film, Nuit Blanche, the director Rajesh M.Selva had made it in two different ways to suit Tamil as well as Telugu audiences. Being the debut movie for him, he had also worked hard for the screenplay within 60 days of tight schedule.

5. 50th film for Trisha

This movie also marks the 50th film in Trisha’s career in Kollywood and even she has dubbed in her own voice. She is sure that this action entertainer will give a breakthrough from her monotonous romantic roles.
