The release of the dubbed version of Shankar’s Endhiran in Hindi as Robot in 2010 did not meet the expected collection as the actors in it except Aishwarya was not well known there. To make the sequel hit, the hunt for pan India actors are on.

The makers have zeroed their option from Arnold Schwarzenegger to Amitabh Bachchan to share the screen space with Rajinikanth. It is the fourth time for the duo coming together after Geraftaar (1985), Hum (1991) and Andha Kanoon (1983).

After that they had been looking forward keen to work together and things came to happen now. The official word from the director’s mouth has also been received that Amitabh Ji will be given with a khulasa role, meaning a frank one.
