Kamal Haasan in and Mohanlal out for Gaadha
Article posted on 29 October 2015Kamal Haasan has been in consideration for a brief time in Malayalam after the remake of Drishyam. There is also an unknown fact that Kamal has started his career in Malayalam and had done nearly 44 films till date with many in the 1970s.
Ulaganayagan has currently got an opportunity to enter Mollywood in the lead role with the award winning ace director Shaji N. Karun. Titled as Gaadha, it is based on a short film Kadal written by T.Padmanabhan. Initially Mohanlal was in talks for the male lead but later opted out in September.
Being a bilingual made in Malayalam and Hindi, the makers have shifted their choice of roping in Kamal instead of Mohanlal. Another interesting news about the movie is that the music will be composed by a legendary Polish music director Zbigniew Preisner. The tunes are going to be the fusion of Indian classical and symphony for the prestigious movie.
