Shankar’s wishes for Anirudh’s B’day

Also the release of Vedhalam album brought him even more wishes. At this instant, director Shankar took the opportunity to praise him not for the Vedhalam album or his birthday but for the songs of Naanum Rowdy Thaan.
The music album of Vijay Sethupathi starrer Naanum Rowdy Thaan was released on October 5. The single track Thangamey with the voices of Anirudh became a silent hit with top views in an instant. But the speculations are going on why did Shankar chose to appreciate Anirudh for this movie rather than Vedhalam.
