Talvar

The yesteryear actress Tabu has been doing few supporting yet powerful center roles in the recent movies. Talvar will be her upcoming movie this year releasing on October 2 where she does a cameo appearance. Playing the wife of Irrfan Khan, she will be barely seen for 3 minutes.

She just makes presence as the lead investigator’s wife who has some problems in marital relationship. So she was not seen in any of the promotions of the movie and pondered question with many. Though her role is not related to the main plot she has agreed for the director Meghna Gulzar. Tabu is also close to the director’s father Gulzar Saab, the renowned lyricist and of course with Irrfan.

Irrfan-Tabu had been playing husband and wife in the past for two other movies, The Namesake and Maqbool that looked classic on screen. But in Life of Pi and Haider, there was not a single shot together. In fact Irrfan himself had said that he was looking forward to do a trilogy of passionate romance with Tabu and Talvar stood a chance for them.
