The comeback after a long wait of the 1990’s star Prashanth will be this year in the movie Sahasam directed by a debut director Arun Raj Varma. Though it the remake of the Telugu movie Julayi, the producer and the actor’s father Thiyagarajan has been planning a great re-entry for his son. The grand audio launch was done at Malaysia on August 8 and the album was released on September 18 at Suryan FM station.

Music composed by Thaman, the attraction and the curiosity for the audiences lies with the Desi Girl song of Prashanth with Nargis Fakhri. Madhan Karky and Na.Muthukumar has penned the lyrics and the female version was given by Ramya Nambeesan. Even Shreya Ghoshal has made a first time kuthu song in this flick.

The star cast for the music album went on with actress Lakshmi Menon who had sung for the second time in her career. Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Anirudh Ravichander, Mohit Chauhan,Vijay Prakash, Mansi, Andrea Jeremiah and Silambarasan had also lent their voices for a single track each that has come out very well.
