Kamal Haasan, Tamannaah and Amala Paul to do Clean India
Article posted on 12 September 2015Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 2 last year and the mission is nearing its first year anniversary in few days. The President Pranab Mukherjee has called upon a meeting on September 10 with selected brand ambassadors like Sachin Tendulkar, Prasoon Joshi, Kamal Haasan, Salman Khan, Shankar Mahadevan, Suresh Raina, Mohammad Saif, Anil Ambani, Baba Ramdev, Shashi Tharoor, Kapil Sharma, Governor of Goa and former CM of Uttar Pradesh.
South Indian actress Tamannaah and Amala Akkineni were also present on the occasion at Rashtrapati Bhawan. The President requested the Ambassadors to create awareness on the campaign and motivate the public in every city for a clean India. Tamannah took it to Twitter on meeting the yesteryear actress Amala whose speech was great on that day.
