The trailer for Vijay Sethupathi's 50th film, Maharaja, has just been released, and fans are ecstatic. After the film's announcement last year and the reveal of Sethupathi's first look in the thriller, the makers have now unveiled the trailer for the Nithilan Saminathan directorial.
The 1 minute and 42 seconds video introduces viewers to Sethupathi's character, Maharaja, an ordinary barber (or is he?), who runs a salon in KK Nagar. He finds himself in distress when someone steals 'Lakshmi' from his house, prompting him to file an FIR at the police station. But who is Lakshmi, you ask? It's not his wife, sister, friend, money, or gold. Sethupathi's character attempts to explain it through a series of actions, adding a comedic twist for the audience. Maharaja even goes as far as warning the police to find his Lakshmi, or else... but that suspense will only be resolved when the movie, which has yet to announce a release date, hits the screens.
