Vidaarth Anjaamai Passes Censorship Checks
Article posted on 27 May 2024We mentioned recently that Vidaarth's upcoming movie is called Anjaamai. Today, the creators shared that the movie got a U certificate from the Censor Board. This news comes shortly after they revealed the title poster. Directed by SP Subburaman, the movie also features Vani Bhojan, known for her role in the 2023 film Love.
The poster shows Vidaarth sitting with Vani Bhojan's character and their kids. In front of them is a newspaper with a fire, suggesting that someone died because of the NEET exam. It suggests that the movie will talk about poor people who find it hard to pass the test for an MBBS seat.
The movie is filmed by Karthick, edited by Ramsudharsan, and has music by Raghav Prasad. It's expected to come out in June, but we don't know the exact date yet. We're also waiting for more information about the story and other actors.
Vidaarth, who was in the movie Devil released in February, will play a police officer in director Saji Saleem's Laandhar.
