Rajat Kaul, known for his role as Iqbal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi, will appear in Akshay Kumar's new movie Sky Force, as announced by the filmmakers on Thursday. The film, directed by Sandeep Kewlani & Abhishek Kapur, tells the story of 'India’s first and deadliest air strike'. Veer Pahariya also plays a significant part in the movie.
Before, a video announcement for the movie was released. It showed a sneak peek into the film's setting, depicting events from the 1960s amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan
The movie is scheduled to come out on October 2 this year, coinciding with the birthdays of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Rajat Kaul has been recognized for his roles in movies such as Pathaan (2023), Ragini MMS (2011), and appearances in web series like Bambai Meri Jaan (2023) and Special Ops (2020). Akshay Kumar's latest film was Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
