Kamal Haasan Indian 2 has revealed a release date.
Article posted on 20 May 2024On Sunday, Kamal Haasan shared on his official X account that his next movie with director Shankar, Indian 2, will be in theaters on July 12. He also said that the first song from the movie will be released this Wednesday, May 22.
Indian 2 is the follow-up to the 1996 film Indian. It continues the story of Senapathy, who fought for freedom and now fights against corruption. The movie was announced in 2017 but faced several production delays.
The group of actors in the movie includes Kajal Aggarwal, Sj Suryah, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, and Samuthirakani, among others.
Behind the scenes, cinematographer Ravi Varman, editor Sreekar Prasad, and music director Anirudh are working on Indian 2. The movie is supported by Subaskaran's Lyca Productions.
