Varalaxmi and Suhasini new courtroom drama movie titled as "The Verdict."
Article posted on 15 May 2024Actors Suhasini Maniratnam and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will star in a legal drama set in the US. Called "The Verdict," the movie also features Sruthi Hariharan, Vidyulekha Raman, and Prakash Mohandas in important roles. The film is directed by newcomer Krishna Sankar, who reportedly finished filming in only 23 days.
Sankar mentions that doing thorough planning before filming can make shooting easier. He explains that he spent nine months preparing before starting filming. "We started planning in January 2023 and began shooting in September of that year. The editing process took three months.
The team behind "The Verdict" includes cinematographer Arvind Krishna, famous for his work on movies like "Pudhupettai" and "7G Rainbow Colony," and editor Sathish Surya, known for his work on "Vikram Vedha and Aditya Rao is taking charge for the music.
Even though there's no confirmed release date, the creators of "The Verdict" aim to release it during the final week of June.
