Ajay Devgn's upcoming biographical sports drama Maidaan has been approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) without any edits. The CBFC members reportedly reacted positively to the film and awarded it a U/A certificate.
The movie has a duration of three hours, one minute, and 30 seconds, equivalent to 181.30 minutes.
Maidaan tells the story of Rahim, the coach of the Indian Football team, who guided them to victory at the Asian Games in 1951 and 1962. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film features Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, and Gajrao Rao in leading roles.
The film is produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla. AR Rahman has created the music for the film, with lyrics written by Manoj Muntashir Shukla.
Maidaan is set to be released on April 10, coinciding with the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.
