Just before it comes out, the creators of Jayam Ravi's new movie "Siren" say it's been approved by the censor board and got a U/A certificate.
In the movie, Jayam Ravi acts as an ambulance driver who's wrongly blamed and put in jail. When he gets temporary leave, he tries to show he's innocent. At the same time, he's up against a tough police officer played by Keerthy Suresh. Anupama Parameshwaran plays Jayam Ravi's wife. Meanwhile, Yogi Babu plays a kind cop who supports Jayam Ravi.
Directed by newcomer Antony Bhagyaraj, "Siren" features Keerthy Suresh in a prominent role alongside Jayam Ravi. In the movie, Jayam Ravi acts as a prisoner, while Keerthy takes on the role of a police officer. The cast also includes Samuthirakani, Azhagam Perumal, Yogi Babu, and Tulasi.
"Siren" is described as a thrilling emotional story with lots of action. It's produced by Sujatha Vijaykumar from Home Movie Makers, and Selvakumar SK, known for his work in "Maanagaram," is the cinematographer. Ruben is editing the film.
"Siren" is getting ready to release in theaters on February 16th.
