Just before Lal Salaam, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, was set to come out, the creators said it passed all the checks and got a U/A rating.
The movie's trailer just came out. Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal are both cricket players, and they come from different religions. Rajinikanth's character, Moideen Bhai, wants to support his son Vikranth's cricket talent, while Vishnu Vishal's character, Thirunavukkarasu, seems to have some anger problems of his own. At the same time, their city is dealing with religious tension that's causing trouble between communities.
Lal Salaam is the first time Rajinikanth is working with Aishwarya, and it's also her first time collaborating with AR Rahman, who is in charge of the music. The movie also features Senthil, Jeevitha, Thambi Ramaiah, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna, Thangadurai, and KS Ravikumar, along with others.
Vishnu Rangasamy is handling the camera work, and Pravin Baaskar is doing the editing for the movie. Lal Salaam is set to release in theaters on February 9th.
