Kangana Ranaut's first movie as a director, "Emergency," now has a release date. The film is scheduled to be in theaters on June 14th this year.
Kangana shared the news on social media along with a new poster from the movie. She wrote, "Discover the story of India's toughest times. Excited to announce 'Emergency' on June 14th, 2024. Witness the powerful portrayal of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi as history unfolds in cinemas on June 14th, 2024.
Emergency was originally planned to come out on November 24th last year, but the date was changed due to the adjustments in my busy schedule of releasing back-to-back films," as Kangana mentioned on social media.
Emergency also includes actors Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, and Vishak Nair. The screenplay and dialogues for the film are written by noted writer Ritesh Shah. Presented by Manikarnika Films, Emergency is produced by Renu Pitti and Kangana.
