The first look at the movie Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan, called 'Drop 1' by the people making the movie, was shown on the superstar's birthday on Thursday. Rajkumar Hirani is directing the movie, which also has Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover in important roles.
In the 'Drop 1', Shah Rukh is wearing a black outfit, walking with a group of people in a big dry, empty land. While they're moving, someone on a hill is aiming at them with a gun. Then, the story goes to a little village in Punjab where there are different people like Hardy (Shah Rukh Khan), Manu (Taapsee Pannu), Sukhi (Vicky Kaushal), Balli (Anil Grover), and Buggu (Vikram Kochhar). They all want to go to London.
Shah Rukh posted the teaser on X and said, "It's about regular folks trying to make their dreams come true and finding love and friendship. It's about the feeling of being at home. The director tells heartwarming stories, and I'm proud to be a part of this one. I hope you all join us on this journey.
The movie will come out on December 22 and might compete with Prabhas's Salaar.
