Shah Rukh Khan is back to entertain people with a movie called "Jawan," directed by Atlee. The film will be shown in theaters on September 7th, and today they started selling tickets in advance. Surprisingly, in just two and a half hours, nearly 50,000 tickets for the movie were sold in big cinema chains like PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. It seems people are really excited to watch it!
It's expected that the movie will sell more than 1.20 lakh tickets just for its first day of release by the end of Friday. This will beat the previous record set by the movie "Pathaan," which sold 1.17 lakh tickets on the first day when they became available for purchase.
The excitement for "Jawan" is incredibly high, and if the early excitement is any indication, it might achieve something surprising. "Jawan's" goal is to sell more advance tickets than "Pathaan" did in the three big cinema chains. "Pathaan" sold over 5 lakh tickets in PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis for its Republic Day release. So, Shah Rukh Khan aims to surpass his own record with "Jawan" and become the top movie in advance bookings.
