The creators of the new Tamil movie, Irugapatru, revealed the first song called "Piriyathiru" on Thursday. Justin Prabhakaran made the music, Karthik Netha wrote the lyrics, and Yuvan Shankar Raja sang the song.
Directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan, known for his work on movies like Tenaliraman, Potta Pottim, and Eli, the new film features a talented group of actors. The cast includes Vikram Prabhu, Shraddha Srinath, Vidaarth, Shri, Abarnathi, and Saniya Iyappan.
Before this, the creators shared a unique teaser called "The Gap." In this teaser, they asked 21 questions to some couples to see how much they understood each other. This teaser suggested that the movie would explore the topic of relationships and marriage.
The team working on the film includes Justin Prabhakaran for music, JV Manikanda Balaji as the editor, and Gokul Benoy as the cinematographer.
"Irugapatru" is created by SR Prakash Babu, SR Prabhu, P Gopinath, and Thanga Prabahran under the banner of Potential Studios LLP. We don't know when the movie will be released yet. Netflix has secured the rights to show the movie on their platform after it's done playing in theaters.
