Kavin to star in Elan's shelved film "Star"
Article posted on 29 August 2023People were aware that a movie called "Star," directed by Elan who made Pyaar Prema Kaadhal in 2018, was stopped from being made for reasons that weren't shared. In December 2020, they revealed a poster showing Harish Kalyan imitating famous appearances of Rajinikanth from Thalapathy, Kamal Haasan from Sigappu Rojakkal, and Shah Rukh Khan from Kal Ho Naa Ho.
The movie is still titled "Star," and they've shared a first look poster with Kavin in it. Elan and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja are working together again on this project, just like they did on Pyaar Prema Kaadhal. Earlier, Kavin, Yuvan, and Elan hinted at this by posing in a photo where they joined hands to make a star shape.
On Yuvan Shankar Raja's birthday, August 31st, the creators are getting ready to share a unique promo for this movie. Ezhil Arasu, who was also part of the team for the movie Dada, will be in charge of the camera work for Star. Editing responsibilities will be managed by Pradeep E Ragav. The movie also involves National Award-winner Sujith.
