On Sunday, there was a special ceremony to announce the movie "Thammudu," which will be directed by Venu Sriram and star Nithiin. This movie will be their first time working together.
Venu Sriram has directed movies like Oh My Friend, Middle Class Abbayi, and more recently, the movie Vakeel Saab starring Pawan Kalyan. Nithiin is currently working on a movie called Extra with Sree Leela, and he also has an upcoming film with his previous director Venky Kudumula from Bheeshma.
The movie Thammudu is being made by Dil Raju's production company, Sri Venkateshwara Creations. This is Nithiin's third time working with Dil Raju, following their collaborations on Dil and Srinivasa Kalyanam.
Director Anil Ravipudi, who has a movie called Bhagavanth Kesari coming out during Dusshera, started filming by turning on the camera at the event. Vamshi Paidipally, the director of the movie Varisu, directed the first ceremonial shot.
Satyajit Pandey, also known as Sethu, who worked on movies like Dangal, Kahaani, and Taare Zameen Par, is the one in charge of the camera for Thammudu. The creators of the movie will reveal more information about the cast and crew in the near future.
