Gangs of Godavari: Title of Vishwak Sen's Next Film Revealed
Images posted on 01 August 2023On Monday, the creators of the movie "VS 11" shared on social media that the film has been renamed as "Gangs of Godavari." The film stars actor-filmmaker Vishwak Sen as the main character, and it is directed by Krishna Chaitanya. "Gangs of Godavari" is produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. It is co-produced by Venkat Uppaturi and Gopi Chand Innamuri and presented by Srikara Studios.
The initial sneak peek of the movie, shown in sepia tones, suggests that it might be a historical drama. While the first looks of Anjali and Vishwak Sen were previously revealed separately, the latest glimpse released today reveals that Neha Shetty, known for her role in DJ Tillu, will be the female lead in the film. The glimpse also shows character actors Nasser and Goparaju Ramana in the movie.
Yuvan Shankar Raja will create the music for "Gangs of Godavari." The movie is currently being filmed. Director Krishna Chaitanya used to be a lyricist in the Telugu film industry before becoming a director. He has previously directed films like "Rowdy Fellow" (2014) and "Chal Mohan Ranga" (2018).
