Article posted on 17 July 2023On Monday, to celebrate actor Vishnu Vishal's birthday, the team of Lal Salaam revealed the first look on social media. In the upcoming film, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal will be playing the lead role alongside Vikranth.
In the poster, Vishal is introduced as Thirunavukarasu, a cricketer, portrayed wearing a face protector. The actor strikes a pose just moments before batting, creating an intense and captivating image.
In addition to Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, Lal Salaam will include a special cameo appearance by Rajinikanth, who will portray the character Moideen Bhai. Recently, the actor completed shooting for his role in the film. Lyca Productions is backing Lal Salaam, and it marks the first-ever collaboration between Aishwarya Rajinikanth and renowned composer AR Rahman, who will be providing the music.
The film is set to be a sports-based drama with political relevance, and it boasts cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy and editing by Pravin Baaskar. Currently, Lal Salaam is slated for release by the end of this year.
