Battle for Bittora is an upcoming social comedy by Shashanka Ghosh of Quick Gun Murugan fame starring Sonam Kapoor. The male lead was previously decided as Fawad Afzal Khan, a Pakistani actor who debuted in Indian films through Khoobsurat. It was spoken that the pair will be carried down for the next but the hero said that he is not keen in working with Sonam again and also has date issues.

So Rhea has gone for other choices that include Farhan Akhtar, Saif Ali Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. Rhea Kapoor, sister of Sonam Kapoor will be producing the movie under the banners of Anil Kapoor. She is about to shortlist one among these three actors for which announcement is awaited.

Battle for Bittora is based on the novel of the same written by Anuja Chauhan where the female lead will be an animation expert named as Sarojini Jinni Pande who will contest for Lok Sabha Elections against an ex-royal, Zain Altaf Khan for which the male lead character has to be finalised between Farhan, Saif and Abhishek.
