The makers of Vimanam, the bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu, took to social media to announce that it has received a U/A certification from the Censor Board. The highly-anticipated movie, written and directed by Siva Prasad Yanala, is scheduled for release on June 9. Hanu Ravuri is responsible for the Telugu dialogues, while Prabhakar has penned the Tamil lines.
Centered on a young boy's aspiration to soar in an airplane, the film features Samuthirakani and Master Dhruvan in prominent roles. Joining them are Meera Jasmine, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rahul Ramakrishna, Dhanraj, and Naan Kadavul Rajendran. Notably, Vimanam also serves as Meera Jasmine's comeback to the Telugu film industry after an absence of more than ten years.
Kiran Korrapati and Zee Studios have come together to co-produce Vimanam, with Veena Korrapati as the co-producer. The film's technical team comprises cinematographer Vivek Kalepu, editor Marthand K Venkatesh, and production designer JK Murthy.
