Tuesday the makers of Manoj Bharathiraja's directorial debut, Margazhi Thingal, unveiling the film's lead actors. Rakshana and Shyam Selvan, both making their debut, have been selected as the leads through a rigorous audition process.

Earlier, the makers of Margazhi Thingal unveiled a captivating first-look poster. The poster showcases Bharathiraja standing with a stick against the backdrop of a village, with a silhouette of a couple superimposed in the background.

Notably, the film is being produced by director Suseenthiran under the Vennila Productions banner, while the music will be composed by GV Prakash. Margazhi Thingal has AR Suriya as the cinematographer and Thiyagu as the editor. The film is slated to commence shooting in the near future.
