Simbu after Podaa Podi in 2012 haven’t given any movies as a hero and now the long-awaited Vaalu will hit the theatres. Soon he will gain back the market with a queue of movies like Kaan, Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada, Idhu Namma Aalu and Vettai Mannan. Among them, he will be seen in Kaan in a different role made by Selvaraghavan.

Most Selvaraghavan movies will not have the story and the characters revealed till its release. But during the press meet of Selvandhan by Mahesh Babu, the antagonist Jagapati Babu who also stars in Kaan gave out everything. Simbu and Jagapati will be seen as RAW Intelligence officers and due to some undesirable habits, the latter gets court-martialed. The remaining story follows as the struggle between both.

Though the first look poster gave a look like Simbu as a don and news of Tapsee as a cop, now the twist is that he is a military officer. When Jagapati tries to attack Chennai, how Simbu tries to save the city in a day will be the focus too. Jagapati also said that there will be many beeps in his dialogues due to the use of offensive language yet a challenging role.
