Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Tamannaah starrer Baahubali became a mega blockbuster hit from Rajamouli grossing 385 crores in 2 weeks. The climax of the climax is made by the director in such a way that the audiences will have to watch the sequel to solve the curiosity. Because of requests from most of the fans, the filmmakers have decided to make the movie as fast as possible and release by July 10, 2016.

The actors who have gone on a vacation will resume with the 40% completed shooting of Baahubali - 2 by September 15. The next schedule will have the filming of grand war scenes between Prabhas and Rana. Anushka who had gained 100 kg for the Inji Idupazhagi had to reduce weight to suit the Devasena character in Baahubali. She was seen in the old lady getup in the first part but this one will show her as young bold lady with daring dialogues and romantic songs.
