The grand budget director Shankar is currently in talks with the Bollywood stars, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone for their role in his next flick, Endhiran 2. Sequel of Superstar’s Endhiran in 2010, the screen will be predominantly shared by Rajinikanth and Vikram for the first time in this part. Funded jointly by Lyca International and Ayngaran, A.R.Rahman will be composing music and Nirav Shah will be the Cinematographer.

Shankar is right now working on the script and as soon as he finish it by the month of September or October, we can expect an official announcement about the confirmation of cast and crew.

Earlier, Vidya Balan, Asin and Anushka Shetty were all approached and subsequently turned down. Katrina has not made any debut in Kollywood while Deepika had given a shot with Rajini in Kochadaiiyaan. The former was also approached for Kochadaiiyaan but she did not nod for it and was replaced by Deepika. Will she accept the offer now to star with the second highest paid actor in Asia is still a question mark. Also Rajini and Vikram, the two big heroes sharing the lead seems to be doubtful as in regard with acceptance with Tamil fans.
