Shahid Kapoor tied knot
Article posted on 07 July 2015The chocolate boy of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor (34) was all set to marry a Delhi girl Mira Rajput (21). The Sangeet and the Mehendi ceremony took place on July 6th with a fabulous dance at the bride’s farmhouse at Chhatarpur, Madhya pradesh. This will be followed by a grand party at Trident Hotel at Mumbai to be attended by the close friends and the relatives of both the family. They have an idea of having a reception too on July 12 for other friends.
It looks like the couple got engaged on January 14, 2015 through the religious association Radha Soami Satsang Beas (A matrimonial alliance).
Today on July 7 at 11:00 A.M., the couple had Shahid had tied knot in a close friend’s home at Gurgaon with only 30 - 40 members attending it. The marriage was held in a traditional Punjabi style. An after party is expected to be held at The Oberoi in Gurgaon this evening. They have decided to keep the guest list for wedding small and limited to 500. The wedding feast will have vegetarian recipes and the reception filled with non-veg. Adding to this, a customized chocolate bar prepared by Delhi Bakery Smitten would be distributed to the guests.
Meanwhile, ex-lover of Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor had expressed her happiness for the wedding and would be a pleasure to attend it if invited.
