Baahubali, the most awaited movie of the year before it's three days of release is facing a threat with the release of its Malayalam version.
The theatrical and satellite rights for the film was obtained by Global United Media for a bulk amount after a competition from 4 bidders. They have distributed across in half of the theatres of the state. In this situation, Kerala Film Exhibitors Federation had decided for a theatre strike on July 9th on account of privacy issues on the movie Premam, just one day before to the movie’s release. They have also announced that they may go on an indefinite strike if proper action has not taken on conspirators.
Kerala marked the place for the largest poster, screening at 4K resolution and 64 channel Dolby Atmos Multidimensional sound in Ariesplex S L Theaters at Trivandrum for the first time. With so many promotional efforts taken during this monsoon season, the movie is facing a serious hindrance which may adversely affect the expected collections.
The issue had also hit Tamil Nadu when the producer of Premam has lodged a complaint on a studio at Chennai.
