Rakul Preet Singh is fast climbing the ladder of success in Tamil cinema. She has few big projects for this year including Suriya starrer NGK, directed by ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan. Rakul Preet will join the sets of Suriya starrer NGK to begin the second leg of the shoot for the movie. She tweeted, 'And the next schedule for #NGk begins this film pushes me to give my best. So much to unlearn n learn..'

Selvaraghavan, who is directing the film, underwent an appendix operation recently. He has recovered completely to begin the shoot now. Produced by S R Prabhu, the movie also features Sai Pallavai in a prominent role. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for NGK. Suriya plays a rebel who works to bring necessary political changes for his people in the film.
