Appukutty

Actor Appukutty who started his career by doing uncredited cameos in various movies, became popular by acting in “Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu” where he played the role of a kabbadi player under the name “Appukutty”. He also became famous by starring in Director Suseenthiran’s “Azhagarsaamiyin Kuthirai” which won critical acclaim for both the movie and his performance in the movie.

The actor has decided to star under his real name “Sivabalan” in the forthcoming movies, on the advice of actor ajithkumar.They both have collaborated in the movie “Veeram” and also have joined again for “Thala 56”. Ajith has also told sivabalan that he possessed a lot of acting skills and that there is not much space to prove it. Hence Thala himself arranged for a photoshoot with appukutty in various styles and has published it in the internet,which got rave reviews from the people. This makeover is said to give a new opening for the actor.

Appukutty has also been awarded the national film award for his performance in Azhagarsaamiyin Kuthirai.
