Abhishek Bachchan, son of Amitabh has set footprints for himself in Bollywood since 2000. He made his debut in that year through the movie ‘Refugee’ which was critically acclaimed. He was well renowned for his police officer role in Dhoom series, that made one of the highest grossing movies. Later, Bunty Aur Babli fetched him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.
Further with Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar, he was acknowledged with the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. The movie Guru by Mani Ratnam had made a milestone in his career when he played the role of Dhirubhai Ambani. In 2010, he had received the National Award for the movie Paa.
Today, 30th June marks the day of release of his first film Refugee 15 years ago. He had crossed about 60 films in this time period. Most of his works had been a blockbuster hit and his voyage had been smooth. Presently, he is committed to ‘All is Well’ directed by Umesh Shukla which will pinpoint a social message.
