Actor Pandiarajan's son Prithvirajan made his Kollywood debut with Kaivandha Kalai and followed it up with Vaaimai and a cameo in Mupparimaanam. He is pinning hopes on his next venture titled Thodra, which is based on honour killing. It is directed by K Bhagyaraj's assistant Madhuraj, who had earlier distributed several films in the past. A newcomer Veena is the heroine and Saravanakumar is the baddie. The supporting cast comprises of director A Venkatesh, Myna Susan, Theepetti Ganesan and others. The film is produced by Chandra Saravanakumar.
Much recently the audio of the movie was released. Speaking on the occasion, Bhagyaraj expressed confidence that Thodra will make it big. The crux of the story is different and much relevant for the day. I am confident that the movie would give Prithvirajan a fresh lease of life'.
