Saniya Iyappan, born on April 20, 2002, is an accomplished Indian actress renowned for her work in Malayalam films and television shows. She gained widespread recognition for her notable roles in the movies "Queen" (2018) and "Lucifer" (2019).
Saniya embarked on her career in the realm of television by participating as a contestant on the dance reality show "D2 - D 4 Dance" aired on Mazhavil Manorama. She demonstrated her talent and dedication by securing the second runner-up position in the competition.
Her foray into the world of cinema began with her appearance in the film "Baalyakaalasakhi" in 2014, where she portrayed the childhood of Isha Talwar. In the same year, she featured in "Apothecary," playing the role of Suresh Gopi's daughter. While initially taking on brief roles in various films, Saniya eventually stepped into the spotlight with her first lead role in the 2018 movie "Queen." Her outstanding performance garnered her several accolades, including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut - South.
