The way director Sagar Chandra linked the events and real incidents happened at that time is extraordinary. He carried the emotion very well throughout the movie. The major plus point of the film is the director staying genuine and being honest to his story. He did not try to include usual stuff in the movie. The screenplay has a new angle that we have never seen on Telugu screen. Appatlo Okadundevadu is certainly one best piece of writing in the recent times. In this, there is not even a single scene that we feel boring or forced.

Appatlo Okadundevadu entirely runs on the situations while the characters only respond to them which is why the story absorbs you. There will be a lot going on in the film what with the numerous characters flitting in and out of the narrative and yet making their presence felt and keeping their importance in the plot progression intact. In the final 20 minutes of the film, while emotions run high, the story too seamlessly falls into place as all the loose ends are tied up.

Appatlo Okadundevadu is one of the rarest good films in the recent times. The film is surely going to be a path breaker in the Telugu film industry. The best part of the film is the story and its screenplay. The way Sagar Chandra, the director of the film connected the events with true incidents through a unique screenplay is excellent. The writing is a major plus point in the movie. Appatlo Okadundevadu has so many good moments for which you will be amazed. The minute detailings that the director has taken care of will leave a positive impression on the film. The movie, on the whole, is an engaging, emotional and entertaining ride that will introduce us to a new style of film making in Telugu.

'Appatlo Okadundevaadu' many not create sensation but is a good attempt. It is difficult to predict box office result now itself as Telugu viewers are reputed to reject good films like Manamanta. The film takes viewers to 20 years back from the routine films.
