'Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga' is a bold attempt from Parthiban

After the innovative and unique 'Kathai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam', the film without a story, Parthiban has come up with yet another creative movie, this time, a film with mistakes, 'Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga' (KIN). This film will be an important one in Shanthnu’s acting career as he has given his mature best. His expressions convey varied emotions. 'KIN' is a bold attempt from Parthiban yet again. His wordplay with the film’s tagline (a film with mistakes) justifies the film’s core plot, but as a whole, the film finds it hard to engage the audience.
'Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga' is largely a miss, hitting the right notes only towards the end

On a business trip to India, an NRI fantasizes about getting into a relationship with the young wife of his middle-aged driver. Radhakrishnan Parthiban's films can be hit-and-miss affairs (mostly the latter because of his indulgences). His previous film, 'Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam', worked very well as a quirky meta film. 'Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga' is largely a miss, hitting the right notes only towards the end. It’s a hedonistic romantic drama with a climactic twist that lacks the zing such a genre-bending film needs.
Go for the different screenplay where whatever you see is not what it seems

Justifying the title Parthiban plots the screenplay like a mystery thriller and all the clues he leaves, which seem superfluous when watching become clear after he fills in the blanks in the climax.
