'Phobia' has some 'heart-in-the-mouth' jump scares when you least expect them. Further the film is not just about nail-biting moments. The nerve-recking tale also has some humour to ease the tension and lighten up your mood.
Radhika Apte is stellar in Phobia

The first half of the film is engaging, terrifying and exciting, all at the same time. The camera work, too, is very sharp. There are quite a few scenes which will scare the hell out of you. The one right before the interval will certainly send shivers down your spine.
The Radhika Apte film is genuinely frightener

The Radhika Apte starrer is genuinely frightener, so far away from those unintentionally comic monstrosities it keeps slinging out, that you feel like cheering.

The credit here truly goes to Radhika Apte. She makes you buy into her world of eerie laughter, black cats, a cut finger amidst ice cubes and the story of a dead woman who had lived in her house before and had mysteriously gone absconding. Her agony and her helplessness look palpable as she takes us through her disturbing world.

PHOBIA is a well-made taut thriller with an amazing performance by Radhika Apte. However the in film blood and gore may not be to everyone's liking affecting the film's overall box office prospects as it will appeal to a rather niche audience.
Radhika Apte’s terrific performance and a few genuine jump scares make the thriller watchable!

Phobia had the potential of being one of those rare Bollywood psychological thriller’s that you can proudly recommend to your friends. A genuinely claustrophobic first half and Radhika Apte’s fantastic performance were its aces.
The skillful story-telling and Radhika Apte’s stellar act make this film unmissable.

Phobia is a step ahead for Bollywood to explore the genres of psychological thrillers. With Radhika Apte’s fine performance, this film is a must-watch for those who love experimental cinema.
Phobia is a taut and evocatively filmed psychological thriller

A 'horror' film with a marked difference, Phobia juggles with familiar elements of the genre - fear, shock, surprise, mystery - with a steady sense of thematic purpose.
