Comedy is serious business in films like this and Housefull 3 lives up to the humongous hype and enormous expectations attached to the franchise. The film ends as a one time watch time pass entertainer

One star in the rating is for Akshay who has mastered this genre. Riteish and Abhishek keep pace with him, as does Jacqueline. So if you just want to LOL—go for it!
Housefull 3 is a no-brainer that can be enjoyed only by fans of Akshay.

Akshay Kumar is known for his impeccable comic timing. The actor does manage to pull off a good job with his split personality act but after a point goes overboard and there is a thin line between acting and loud acting then!
Watch the film only for Akshay, Riteish and Abhishek's comic timing.

Sajid-Farhad's Housefull 3 is entertaining only for its male leads. The story has nothing much to offer in terms of either substance or laughter. There are no rib-tickling moments in Housefull 3; but the actors do manage to get a few spurts of laughter.
Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan monkey around in ‘Housefull3’

Sajid-Farhad leave us thoroughly exhausted with a comedy, that unfortunately borders on tragedy

Unfortunately, Housefull 3 is so utterly brainless that it would be our stupidity to talk about technicalities here. From weak storyline to a series of plotholes, from repetitive comic sequences to a poor VFX, the film has a long list of demerits, which makes it fall flat on its face!
If you are easily offended, Housefull 3 is not for you.

While the first half has some laugh-out loud moments, the second half meanders. But the climax, which has some golden moments, wrap things up nicely.
