OF SWEET NOTHINGS...

In this seemingly tailor-made role, Aditya Roy Kapur shines as a goofy, shorts-wearing man-child. Shraddha is mostly sincere too, but there are scenes where you can’t help but flashback to Nithya Menen, who had charmed people’s socks off with her performance in OK Kanmani. Adi and Tara’s impulsive infatuation is countered by Gopi uncle (Naseeruddin Shah) and Charu aunty’s (Leela Samson) golden-jubilee marriage; both senior actors grounding the movie and saving it from becoming frivolous.
OK Jaanu is an extremely entertaining film

Kudos to the director for choosing just the right set of actors. Viewers do enter the theatre with high expectations from the helmer of films like Saathiya and Bunty Aur Babli and he doesn’t disappoint them. The first half of the film moves pretty fast but slows down a bit in the second half.

OK Jaanu will be a treat to Shraddha and Aditya fans. If you are a sucker for romantic films or then easy movies then you wouldn’t mind spending your two hours and fifteen minutes in the theatre for this one.
Cliched and repetitive

As for the music by A.R. Rahman, the upbeat remix of the iconic Humma and Kaara Fankaara, and the lilting Saajan Aayo Re and Enna Sona are redeeming to some extent. But then not quite enough to make you sit through two hours and fifteen minutes.
