The film Baar Baar Dekho has loads of stuff to unleash, right from a cool story to nice performances and fitting music piece, there are loads of stuff to be seen in the film that are entertaining. And yes the looks and poses of Katrina in two piece happen to be the most interesting thing to catch giving her fans enough opportunities to enjoy her hot presence in the movie.

Baar Baar Dekho is a good watch for the weekend and definitely one that you can take your kids too. It’s a breezy, easy movie to watch, with not too much drama or heartbreak. It is soothing and feel good and director Nitya Mehra excels in her directorial debut. The music (Kala Chashma apart) and cinematography add to the ‘wonderful’ effect of the film. And it is certainly a slice-of-life film that all of us can relate to.

If you view this as a film about two good looking people who are in love and in the price of a movie ticket, you get to see gorgeous locales in Thailand, Katrina in a beautiful pink bikini, a drop dead gorgeous man with dreamy eyes and trip to the future. Dude, the gadgets in 2043 do look slick. If you have to settle for a half-baked story for the sake of all this, I say it ain't a bad bet.

Baar Baar Dekho doesn't seek or give us substantiated answers on cosmic mysteries. Why Man does what he does, who is responsible for our actions -- sometimes horribly wrong - we don't know. Neither does the film. Director Nitya Mehra glides with a silent giggle and a sigh across a beautifully painted skyline of wistful thinking.

Sidharth Malhotra looks contrived as Jai and it can easily be said that for most of the time he has a perplexed expression. Nonetheless, he has a great screen presence and many girls will be drooling over his looks. Katrina Kaif looks ravishing with her hot bod. Her acting is not upto the mark. She is weakest in the emotional scenes. I’d say even her killer abs act better than her!

The phase in which he’s an old, dejected soul looks terribly contrived. Even Kaif cannot pull off a fake grey wig and doesn’t age too well. Those phases are amateurish, but what keeps this love story afloat are the moments in which the couple try to work through their skewed work-life balance. It’s a problem that many modern-day couples face and the diatribe about ‘you don’t spend enough time with me’ hits close home. Both Kaif and Malhotra have enough sizzle to keep us guessing.
